RYAN DOWD, THE OWNER OF SILENT EVENTS®, ANNOUNCES ISSUANCE OF A NEW UNITED STATES PATENT COVERING WIRELESS MULTI-LISTENER HEADPHONE SYSTEM INCLUDING LIGHT EMISSION CHANGES DEPENDENT ON SELECTED TRANSMISSION CHANNELS

NASHVILLE, TN October 10th, 2015 (NEWSWIRE) – SILENT EVENTS, INC., announced today that the U.S.
Patent and Trademark Office issued United States Patent No. 9,143,595 on September 22, 2015. The patent, which expires in 2031, claims an overall multi-listener wireless broadcast system utilizing headphones that react in terms of light colors when tuned to specific broadcast channels. Such a system, which is called SILENT DISCGLOWTM, basically pertains to multi-listener experiences, such as activities referred to as silent discos, silent raves, quiet discos, quiet clubs, headphone parties and other similar experiences, that permit more than just multiple transmission sources for multiple listeners to choose from, but also an overall experience of color and light dependent on the different selected music/comedy/etc., sources involved. The outward displays of luminescent color from the headphones themselves thus provide a unique visual view to other listeners or other spectators of the venue, creating a new experience in the wireless multi-listener arena. Such a system allows for each listener to select different channels for different transmission sources and the colored lights indicate the channels listeners have chosen.

SILENT EVENTS, INC., is the creation and brainchild of Ryan Dowd, the Father of wireless multi-listener
experiences in the United States. Silent Events was the first American owned company to specialize in multilistener wireless broadcast system utilizing wireless headphones. Dowd helped bring such a system to Bonnaroo in 2005, which most consider the first silent disco in the US. Dowd has not only over a decade of experience in the music industry as well as certain transmission/reception systems and extensive research and development into headphone units. Dowd and Silent Events have been featured in New York Times, MSNBC, New York Post, Rolling Stone Magazine, Pollstar, and USA Today to name a few. Silent Events has provided these wireless multi-listener experiences in 42 states across America and several provinces in Canada.
