Silent Disco set to rage X Games Austin

X Games Austin 2014 will display the world’s best action sports competition and music and festival experience June 5-8 in the heart of Texas. So, what better place to throw a three-day silent disco?

The silent disco, powered by Silent Events, will take place in the Sound Factory village and will feature multiple DJs. The Sound Factory will be a fully immersive area for music lovers to dance, sing, record, listen, and play music in a variety of activations. From the silent disco to karaoke to Rock Band competitions, the fun will last throughout the weekend. The silent disco will run from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Friday, June 6, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, June 7, and from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, June 8.

In it’s 19th year, X Games features more than 200 of the world’s best action sports athletes competing in BMX, Skateboarding, Moto X, RallyCross, and – new this year – Stadium SUPER Trucks. This year’s event will also feature musical performances from Kanye West, Flaming Lips, Pretty Lights, and Gary Clark, Jr. Interactive villages will be spread throughout the grounds, giving fans a variety of experiences including gaming, racing simulators, concerts, food, and a movie theater.

This will mark Silent Events’ second X Games in 2014, as it also powered the silent disco at Winter X Games 2014 Aspen in January.
