Chesapeake Jubilee to hold silent disco

The first ever Chesapeake Jubilee silent disco will take place from 6:00 PM to close on May 16 and 17, and Silent Events will be there to kick things off in grand style.

Chesapeake Jubilee Silent Disco Powered by Silent Events

Started in 1983 as a way to celebrate the city’s 20th birthday, the Chesapeake Jubilee has grown into a four-day festival that features concerts by some of music’s biggest names, rides and entertainment, and fun for all ages.

In addition to the silent disco, this year’s entertainment includes shows from Uncle Kracker, Colt Ford, Aaron Tippin, Joe Diffie, and Sammy Kershaw. A shrimp feast will take place on May 15, and a barbecue cook-off will be held May 16 and 17. And, of course, everyone’s favorite carnival rides and games will be on site.

General admission to the festival starts at just $5 per day. Visit the Chesapeake Jubilee website for more information on ticket pricing.

Keep an eye on the Silent Events Facebook and Twitter pages for information in the coming weeks. Also be sure to stay tuned to the Chesapeake Jubilee Facebook page.
