Social Media Week is described as “a worldwide event exploring the social, cultural and economic impact of social media…(with a mission) to help people and organizations connect through collaboration, learning and the sharing of ideas and information.”
Connected by social media and mobile platforms, 24 cities worldwide will take part in Social Media Week. One of those cities, Chicago, will be hosting a Silent House Party Presented by Tostitos for a select group of music lovers from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM CDT on Wednesday, September 26, and Silent Events has been called on to power the event.
To make the event even more unique, Social Media Week participants in both Chicago (the birthplace of House Music) and Berlin (a hotbed for House Music) will be joined together in partying via social media and Internet technologies. Video screens on Michigan Avenue’s Pioneer Court in Chicago will simulcast the Berlin party. Thanks to Silent Events’ multi-channel headphones, Chicago party goers will be able to listen to the music being mixed in Chicago by Kenny Jammin’ Jason from the Hot Mix 5 on one channel or to the music coming from Berlin on another.
A very limited number of tickets remain available.
