X Games Austin 2014 will display the world’s best action sports competition and music and festival experience in the heart of Texas. The silent disco powered by Silent Events will take place in the Sound Factory village (map) and will feature multiple DJs. The Sound Factory will be a fully immersive area for music lovers to dance, sing, record, listen, and play music in a variety of activations. From the silent disco to karaoke to Rock Band competitions, the fun will last throughout the weekend. The silent disco will run from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Friday, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, and from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Sunday. This will mark Silent Events’ second X Games in 2014, as it also powered the silent disco at Winter X Games 2014 Aspen in January.

Virginia’s long-running Celebrate Fairfax! festival welcomes the silent disco powered by Silent Events back for the fourth consecutive year. Held on 25 acres, Celebrate Fairfax! is Northern Virginia’s largest community-wide celebration. The three-day event will treat tens of thousands of guests to more than 300 exhibitors, food vendors, crafters, and interactive activities. Guests will also enjoy a nightly fireworks display. The Craft Beer Garden (map) will be the site for acoustic artists by day and the silent disco by night. The silent disco will take place from 7:00 PM to midnight Friday and Saturday. Kid Filthy, Ricky Mova, and DJ Bounce will provide the beats on the first night, while Kid Filthy, Ricky Mova, and Danny House will perform Saturday night.

Not to be left out of the mix, younger festival goers will have an opportunity to experience their own version of the silent revolution. Children and parents can dance and sing along to popular kids music at the Silent Disco Jr.^SM from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday and from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Sunday.

No stranger to the Chattanooga area, Silent Events will for the first time be a part of the city’s Riverbend Festival, powering the silent disco on the Bud Light Stage (map). Each of the three nights’ silent discos will take place from 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM and is scheduled to feature a light show and possibly a video screen.

The six silent disco DJs are Chattanooga-based artists who were selected from a pool of 16 contestants over the course of two tryouts in April and May. The performers include Bridge Burner Club,
Cutlass Cult, Moonchild, New Planet, Noted, and T.Rx.

Riverbend annually draws over 500,000 people to the banks of the Tennessee River and is the kick off to summer in the Tennessee Valley. Over 80 artists will perform on five stages during the nine-day event. Please visit the Riverbend website for all ticketing details.

In it’s 19th year, X Games features more than 200 of the world’s best action sports athletes competing in BMX, Skateboarding, Moto X, RallyCross, and – new this year – Stadium SUPER Trucks. This year’s event will also feature musical performances from Kanye West, Flaming Lips, Pretty Lights, and Gary Clark, Jr. Interactive villages will be spread throughout the grounds, giving fans a variety of experiences including gaming, racing simulators, concerts, food, and a movie theater.
