Stiletto performs at the FloydFest Silent Disco

The first weekend in August featured our second appearance at the SoNo Arts Celebration in South Norwalk, CT. The Celebration is a two-day affair “offering a diverse cross section of professional visual and performing artists, subsequent workshops for adults and children, and an on-going foundation in support of the Arts.” The silent disco featured performances by DJ Steal Wool and DJ Bamboo.

On Wednesday, August 14 we will continue our partnership with the Mexican National Soccer Team and Coca-Cola as we set up shop outside MetLife Stadium prior to the match between Mexico and Ivory Coast.

University of Silent Disco (USD) classes resume on Monday, August 19 as we visit Jacksonville State University for the first time. Friday, August 23 will have USD on two of its most popular and well-attended campuses: Vanderbilt University and North Carolina State University. We have previously featured video clips from silent discos at both Vanderbilt (watch) and NC State (watch), with both videos demonstrating how successful each school’s events have been. We will be hitting a number of college campuses this fall, so be sure to keep an eye on our Events page.

Finally, our second trip to Camp Barefoot in Bartow, WV will take place Friday, August 23 and Saturday, August 24. The EQ Silent Disco powered by Silent Events will crank up at 10:00 PM on Friday night and continue until 6:00 AM Saturday morning before falling silent for a few hours and resuming for the same times Saturday night.
